After graduating in 2002, Elliot Thipthorp decided to apply his appreciation for efficiency within
the workplace to his own business, EDT Services.

Coming from a large family of builders, Elliot has always been aware of the shortage of firms
to carry out specific tasks within the industry. Applying his management skills, Elliot’s aim has
been to address this and make EDT Services available to carry out works that other firms
wouldn’t.

"We found that by being time and material efficient we were in a position to save our
customers time and money, sometimes working a few extra hours whilst the project
was set up.  This began to allow us to workin a variety of sectors, mainly niche
markets."

Since its conception, EDT have undertaken a huge spectrum of works from shop-fitting
and landscaping, to groundworks and fencing.

In 2004, in response to changing practices and regulations, the company expanded to
offer crushing, and its complimentary service, demolition.
